The DASH diet is rich in fruits, vegetables and grains and low-fat dairy products.
According to some studies, The DASH diet reduces systolic blood pressure by 6 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure by 3 mm Hg in patients with high normal blood pressure. However these changes don’t effect body weight. For those who is looking for a way to lose weight, do not rush. This method may not work for you.
